In KoKoDo Shiatsu it is believed that our Ki or vital energy flows through our meridians and each regular meridian is associated with organ function. By regulating each meridian energy state shiatsu will in turn regulate organ function. This process helps the body protect against disease. Sha and Ho methods work in compliance with the Yin and Yang Theory and the 5 Element Theory and its cycles.
Through KoKoDo methods a practitioner can feel and sense the the movements and stagnation of Ki and use techniques to calm the sea of energy and in essence bring balance to the system. KoKoDo like, Traditional Chinese Medicine/Traditional Oriental Medicine are rooted in thousands of years of cumulated experience and knowledge.

Shiatsu is a type of Japanese acupressure where we apply light to strong pressure using the thumbs, palm or hand and the pressure is applied along meridians and on special points called tsubo.
You will remain fully clothed and will find it very relaxing. It is at great way to reduce stress and treat the mind and body helping you feel fully restored.

During your visit our expert KoKoD Shiatsu practitioner locates areas and/or points and applies the appropriate pressure to help correct imbalances detected within the tissue.
