Yudansha Weekend Dec 5-6 2026 (open to all members)
The Yudansha Weekend
Is a time for dedicated practitioners of KoKoDo JuJutsu to gather in the spirit of budo, sharing in rigorous training, sincere fellowship, and the continual pursuit of self-improvement.
The weekend is devoted to the deeper study of KoKoDo JuJutsu through advanced kihon, kata, oyo waza, and the refinement of the principles that form the foundation of our art. Under the guidance of Sohanshi Seamark, participants cultivate precision, proper spirit, and a greater understanding of technique beyond physical execution. Every practice is approached with humility, discipline, and respect, reflecting the traditions passed down through generations.
Beyond technical training, Yudansha Weekend is an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between dojo, honor our teachers and lineage, and renew our commitment to the values of Rei (respect), Makoto (sincerity), and Shugyō (the lifelong pursuit of mastery through disciplined practice). Together we preserve the traditions of KoKoDo JuJutsu while continuing to grow in both skill and character.
Open to qualified, Shihan, yudansha, kyu and invited guests, this annual gathering embodies the spirit of Sadohana Kai—training earnestly, supporting one another, and walking the path of budo with gratitude and unwavering dedication.
