Youth with Parent Jujutsu Semi-privates
AIWASE JUJUTSU (YOUTH AND PARENT)
APPROPRIATE FOR AGES 7-14
You can find kids classes almost anywhere in the city and for the most part it's a form or child care which is pretty cool and awesome. We only offered this for many years.
We notice one amazing thing over those years. When a child had a parent that was in the class helping - that child typically continued with the practice for many years and often moved up into the adult classes.
So when Covid hit we made a change. Offer adult and child semi privates.
It became a winning recipe for our youth. Not only that - it became a time where the adult youth bond and grow both physically and mentally through the discipline effort and movement or our JuJutsu.
We focus on.....
- Mobility
- Self-defense and bully proofing
- Yogic stretching
- Jujutsu basic waza and skill development
- Ne waza and floor drills (ground techniques)
- Problem solving and methods to deal with stress
- Kanji Calligraphy (Shodo)
- Nihongo
When: Aug 12 -16
Time: 1pm - 4pm
Cost: $399 for 4 sessions (45-60min each)
Recommend once per week to start.
Adult is permitted to add one adult class per week at no extra cost.
Affilation and testing fees are separate
