Our modern warrior approach focuses on situational awareness, threat and body cue recognition, tactical communication, de-escalation and disengagement, empty hand tactics and techniques, bladed or edge weapon defence concepts, weapons muzzle control tactics, impact weapons control and defence options, ground defence training and options, team tactics, problem solving and instructor development. Classes are run on a weekly basis and are included in our jujutsu training packages.
You can wear a gi, no gi or practice gym wear also. Rash guards are required for all in gi and no gi. If you have gloves or pads you wish to use, you are welcome to bring them as long as all gear is in good clean working condition.
We believe that a person who keeps a tactical mindset has the greatest likelihood of avoiding violent confrontation altogether.
Training modules are geared towards honing the skills. It benefits those best that have a deep and practical working knowledge of Thai Boxing, Japanese JuJutsu, BJJ, Grappling, Tactical Defense Options and Use of Force Options. Custom syllabus for special groups or individuals are provided upon request.
